Brenda Jonasi the immediate winner of The Face Of Glitz Africa, is pursuing a degree in medicine and surgery at Lusaka Apex medical university, she loves playing fifa, traveling, dancing, listening to music, taking videos , playing chess, basketball and also loves watching football too much she supports Chelsea in EPL, the reason she wanted to be Face of Glitz Africa is her believe and trust that she has all it takes to be one, and it’s like a dream come true to me.

In this interview with TREND9JA, she speaks on her experience, expectations and how she intend to render service to the community.

Hello Queen Brenda, nice to have you here.

Yes it has been a long Journey right?
Yeah sir it has.

Tell us how you got to involve in this competition
Okay thanks so how I got to be involved in this competition is that I saw an advert on Instagram that got my attention and decided to inbox the line that was there on WhatsApp, the first person I talked to didn’t give me the vibe then two days after I saw the same advert on Facebook and did the same luck enough the line that was there was from Zambia this time around so I called the person and she told me everything on how to go about then I followed what she said , I was added in a WhatsApp group where they was no model ☝️only the owners where there but still I had hope and all the Petience in the world I waited for 3 good months till other modes where added and the competition began.

Tell us more of your experience during the competition.
Alright thanks to be honest with you I didn’t think it would be that hard but alll thanks to my family and friends for making it easy for me, gaining likes and sharing my post on Facebook was a bit hard cause most of my friends are on Instagram but still I didn’t give you I did what I could best to make sure things are in place, the other thing is that buying the outfits, photo shoots and make up was very hard looking at our current situation of covid 19 things are now expensive but all in all I managed by his Grace and the experience began awesome 😎 and memorable to me

Now that you are Face Of Glitz Africa, what should the public expect from you?
What the public should expect from me is nothing but my all am going to give it my all that’s so

Have you got plans on how you will serve the community in your capacity?
Yes I do

Tell us more;

Looking at the current situation the world is facing Am thinking of making the foot pedal sanitizing machine which I can give away as charity in orphanages, and community schools that can’t afford means of sanitizing and keeping hygiene. That’s just one of the things but I have more to offer.

This is very innovative.
The project requires funding, how do you plan to achieve that with the agency?

How I plan to achieve this project is by doing fundraising.

Yes I did and it’s funny how some Nigerians believe in me at the word go

What if you had not made it?
Not making it or rather losing isn’t the end of things sometimes, it’s a beginning of of something , looking at everyone in our team no one was not made it we all have made it in one way or the other, so if I had not been the queen I would have still been a model for face of glitz which also an achievement

Given you are a medical student, how do you cope with the two career?
That’s medicine and modeling;

It is Interesting to say , time is the only thing that helps, so knowing how to handle it is the best way to go about.
