10 Relationship Lessons I Learned from Loving a Woman In Her Season of Growth
1. Love cannot be rushed
One of the biggest mistake is to think that your partner might move at your pace from the beginning of your relationship. This is because our commitment timeline differs, but this doesn’t take away the fact that they love and care for you, we just have to understand that some personal battles can compete for their attention as well.
2. Support is More Powerful than Pressure
One of the biggest form of love is action, and that action can be seen through support. Support helps kill the pressure, it shows that you understand the phase of their life they are currently experiencing. Support can be in different forms, emotionally, financially, career wise etc . It is important to note that while giving in support, there should be some form of reciprocating on your partner’s end.
3. Giving Space doesn’t mean Giving Up
Sometimes your partner needs space to focus and grow. Space doesn’t automatically mean their feelings has changed towards you.
4. Communication Solves More than Assumptions
It is safe to say that many relationship problems begin with assumptions and lack of proper communication. Honest communication help prevents temporary struggles from becoming permanent problems or usual patterns.

5. Growth Happens in Different Seasons
Life isn’t the same for everyone, and this is something we all need to acknowledge. Life activities, personal experience shapes our ability and capacity to embrace growth. You can encourage, support and pray for someone but their growth has to be their responsibility.
6. A Relationship Should Feel Like a Team
The healthiest relationships aren’t about competition or even keeping score. They’re about asking ”How do we win together”. We all know that ”team work, makes the dream work”. So on this note, it’s the both of you coming together not minding your differences but having same shared values.
7. Respecting Boundaries Builds Trust
You still need boundaries because understanding someone’s season doesn’t mean tolerating disrespect, neglect, or consistently unhealthy behavior . Love needs boundaries, with this manner you can gain trust and have peace of mind not worrying about every move your partner makes.

8. Patience is An Expression of Love
It is also important to note that people change as they grow. In some cases, you have to give them room to figure themselves out while also figuring out who your are becoming. This means that as changes occur, we stay patient and calm, learning through the moment, simply because there is no manual to life but with good intentions , .life can get better for both partners.
9. Don’t Lose Yourself While Loving Someone Else
This here is very vital because in the process and bid to support your partner’s growth, you should not loose yourself. The goal is for the both of you to grow into being compatible and learning from each other, not loosing yourself in the process.
10. Love Grows Best When There is Mutual Effort
The goal is for the two partners to keep falling in love with each other. On this note, we cannot underestimate kindness as it makes showing mutual effort easy. Mutual effort is helping each other win, while pursuing a common goal. This means supporting and not not feeling threatened by their ambitions, it means showing up till you win together.
